Revitalize, Energize with Healthy Tips for Spring!

I’m good!  My heart is open to receive the beauty, refreshing springtime air, all of the new blossoms, beauty and strength that this season offers!  I know that sometimes it’s not so easy to open our heart and RECEIVE – especially when life things are going on, do you know what I mean?  Personally, I can easily get so focused on what ‘s going on that I miss what’s right on the other side.  Last week I was inspired during my prayer & meditation time to meet my family up in Northern CA for a visit at my sister’s home.  I could’ve very easily not listened to the little voice of inspiration and allowed too many life things block me from going but I decided to say YES and GO!  There were so many gifts in my little getaway; one thing I loved is that I took my business with me and worked remotely for a few days!  A change in scenery can offer a great infusion of strength, beauty, confidence, hope and can revitalize & energize!  Just like a change in scenery, a change in how you nourish your body can be just as energizing and revitalizing for you!

REVITALIZE, ENERGIZE ~ Healthy Tips for Spring!

Springtime is a great time to nourish your body with foods that cleanse, detoxify and support your immune system.  Below are a few ideas for you to start nourishing your body to Higher Health (I enjoy daily).  Stock up and plan to enjoy these TIPS DAILY…they will satisfy and help you feel energized, revitalized – giving you more strength & beauty!  KEY POINT:  “ENJOY THESE DAILY!

Higher Health ENERGIZE & REVITALIZE TIPS for you:

  • WATER WITH LEMON:  Aim to drink a minimum of 1/2 your body weight in ounces of purified water daily.  (I use a 32 ounce mason jar because it’s glass {free of toxins} and to help me keep track.)
  • GO NUTS!  Enjoy 1-2 ounces of nuts daily – perfect as a mid-AM or mid-PM snack.  Be sure nuts are RAW – best options – raw cashews, raw walnuts or raw almonds!  Add a few dried cranberries or blueberries and you have a satisfying mini meal – treat!
  • GET YOUR GREENS!  Enjoy 1-2 large handfuls of dark leafy greens each day – spinach, romaine, kale – chop them down into bits and squeeze a whole lemon or lime over with a 1/2 small avocado chopped, pinch of sea salt, dash of balsamic vinegar and you have a delicious, satisfying, detoxifying lunch or dinner meal!

    I LOVE spring!! I love that running outside is easy without snow or ice to dodge and I bring my weights and work out gear up from the basement out on the back deck to get as much sunshine as I can. It’s like the world is inviting me to come out and play! And the urge to ‘eat clean’ and healthy feels strong and I can’t wait to try new things and have more fresh fruit and greens. Thank you for your tips, and encouragement to keep going!
